Article Retraction & Withdrawal

Manuscript Withdrawal: Authors may request to withdraw a submitted manuscript at any stage prior to publication by submitting a formal written request via email to the J-HEST Editorial Team, clearly stating the reason for withdrawal.

If the manuscript is already under active peer review, authors are strongly discouraged from withdrawing the paper without valid academic justification, out of respect for the time and effort invested by reviewers and editors. A withdrawal is considered official only after the author receives a written confirmation from the Editorial Team.

Article Retraction: Published articles may be retracted if severe violations of publication ethics are identified post-publication, such as plagiarism, data fabrication/falsification, double publication, or major errors that compromise scientific integrity.

Retractions are executed by the Editorial Board in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The original article link will remain accessible with a "RETRACTED" watermark applied, accompanied by an official retraction notice detailing the reasons for the action.
